Old Town of Goslar

The old town has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It consists of nearly 1,500 half-timbered buildings from the 15th-19th centuries. Walking along the narrow streets you can also see numerous churches and chapels - in total there are over 40. There is also the town hall, remains of the city fortifications and the imperial palace.
