Castle mountain
Local name: Schlossberg
A hill above Freiburg with a height of 455 m above sea level. Most of its surface is overgrown by forest. On the top there is a former castle tower, which today serves as a viewpoint. On the slopes of the mountain there is a former anti-aircraft defense bouquet. The mountain is a popular destination for walks. You can take it by funicular.
