Falkenstein Castle

The mighty castle was built in the Romanesque style in the mid-twelfth century. The inner tower, measuring over 30 m in height, has been transformed into an observation tower, from which the entire area can be seen. Currently, the castle serves as a museum and is part of the so-called Romanesque trail. Various cultural events take place here, including falconry shows.
