Saint Peter's Cathedral is one of the best examples of Romanesque imperial churches in Germany. It was built in the eleventh century, and its expansion continued in the following centuries. It is a two-chambered structure with a transept and four cylindrical towers. There are two domes above the intersection of the naves. Inside you can see, among others Romanesque courtyard, Gothic reliefs and a richly decorated portal from the 14th century.
