Hochburg Museum

A small castle museum is located in the basement of the upper castle. It was opened in 1991. There are exhibits here telling about the history of the fortress and life in the castle. It was probably founded in the 11th century by Dietrich von Emmendingen. Only impressive ruins have survived to this day, but the fortress is open to the public.
