Local name: Heimatmuseum Lütgendortmund

A castle on the water, which dates back to the 12th century. In its present form it is the result of rebuilding from the Gothic and Renaissance period. It is a L-shaped building with a low tower and stepped gables. Inside there is a museum in which the appearance of former apartments and craft workshops from around Dortmund has been reconstructed.
