Zoo + Fossilium Bochum

Established in 1933, the zoo presents about 4,000 animals from over 300 species. The garden is relatively small, but well-equipped, and the carefully selected animals represent the cross section of the fauna inhabiting all continents. The zoo also conducts extensive research and popularization activities.
