Mining Museum Bochum

Holding approximately 300,000 exhibits mining museum is the largest such facility in the world. Established in 1930, and since 1935 it has been housed in a building designed by Fritz Schupp. In addition to exhibitions of mining equipment and documents, the biggest attraction is a demonstration mine with full equipment, located under the museum building.
