The museum is housed in a building of the city arsenal built in the style of the Dutch Renaissance. His exhibitions are a journey through the history of Cologne from medieval times to post-war reconstruction. City documents, weapons and armaments, home and workshop furnishings, handicrafts, as well as photos and paintings are presented.
