Roman-Germanic Museum

Local name: Römisch-Germanisches Museum

Germany's largest museum presenting monuments from the Roman period. It is located in the place where in the first century AD a Roman villa stood. The museum protects its remains, including mosaics with Dionysian scenes. Roman sculptures, tombstones, jewelry, weapons and everyday objects found during excavations are also presented here.
