EL-DE house

The building where the Gestapo headquarters was located from 1934 to 1945. Currently, there is a museum and center documenting the period of functioning of the Third Reich. The Gestapo prison cells currently available are preserved in the basement. In many of them you can see the original inscriptions on the walls. The exhibitions show the activity of the apparatus of repression, propaganda and control of the state apparatus.
