Sparrenburg Castle

The first fortress was built in the 12th century, and the building that has survived to this day is the result of modernization and renovation carried out in the 16th and 19th centuries. The castle lost its defensive significance at the end of the 17th century and gradually deteriorated. At present, visitors have opened access to the ruins, the 37-meter tower and the network of underground corridors with a total length of 285 m.
