Fagus Factory

Established in 1911, the shoemaker factory is now a technical monument as well as a still-functioning industrial plant. It is inscribed on the UNESCO list. The factory is the work of the famous architect Walter Gropius and is considered one of the earliest examples of modernism. Visitors can see some industrial halls, an exhibition about the factory's past and a film.
