The place commonly known as the Sea of Rocks is a cluster of tall, raw boulders with a dense network of narrow paths between them. The remains of human settlements from the Middle Ages testify to the cultivation of vegetables and vines in the past, which was possible thanks to the fertile "red soil" with a high clay content.
