The historic Seine bridge connects the Quai de Bourbon districts on Saint-Louis and Saint-Gervais on the right bank of the river. The bridge is about 100 m long and 15 m wide. It was built in 1862 and despite several renovations, its appearance has remained almost unchanged since then.
