Villa La Roche is a modernist building designed by Corbusier in the 1920s. is inscribed on the UNESCO list. It houses a museum dedicated to the architect. It presents his sketches, photos, designs and personal souvenirs.
The villa was designed for the Swiss banker Raoul La Roche by one of the most outstanding representatives of modernism, Le Corbusier and his colleague Pierre Jenneret. It is a building with clean, geometric forms, devoid of decorations and decorations.
In 2016, 16 buildings designed by Corbusier, including Villa La Roche, were entered on the UNESCO list. In addition to the building structure itself, the architect also designed part of its equipment. An exhibition of Corbusier's works can now be viewed inside the building. There are designs of his buildings, paintings, sketches, personal photos and documentation of his works.
