The Human Museum is located in the Chaillot Palace. This is a collection devoted to paleontology, anthropology and ethnology. There are exhibits on human biology, such as skulls and skeletal elements, as well as products of his activities. The new exhibition opened in 2015 is comparative and allows you to track the appearance of various phenomena in human activities on Earth.
The museum in the Trocadero park was primarily concerned with ethnography and ethnology. Items from around the world were collected here to show cultural differences from different continents. At the beginning of the 21st century, a large part of ethnographic exhibits related to Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania found their way to the Quay Branly Museum.
Currently, after the great modernization of the exhibition, which ended in 2015, the Human Museum is primarily a journey through the anthropological and ethnological conditions of people's lives. You can see the skulls and skeletons of prehistoric and modern people, including those showing signs of pathological development. In the department of ethnology and bioethnology there are items showing the adaptation of man to life on earth, agricultural tools and devices.
