Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art was founded in 1984 by the famous watch and jewelry manufacturer Cartier SA The collection includes about 1.5 thousand works, including works by James Lee Byars, Wim Delvoye, Liza Lou and many others. The museum's headquarters is a glass building designed by Jean Nouvel, one of the most important architects of the 20th century.
