Montparnasse Tower is a fifty-nine-story building in the Montparnasse district. On the roof there is a viewing terrace, from which there is a panorama of the whole of Paris.
Until 2008, the Montparnasse Tower was the tallest building in Paris. From the rooftop observation deck, you can enjoy views that the Michelin guide classifies as four-star. Many maliciously claim that this is because the skyscraper itself is not visible. The terrace is open from morning to evening. It is also visited after sunset, when you can admire Paris illuminated by a thousand lights and the lit Eiffel Tower.
