The American Cathedral in Paris is located near the Champs-Elysees. This is one of the oldest English-language churches in France. The temple was built at the end of the 19th century in the neo-Gothic style. A towering stone tower stands next to the nave. The interior of the church is simple, above the main nave there is a rib vault made of wood.
The church was built in the second half of the nineteenth century for American Anglican communities who had been gathering in Paris since the 1930s. It is a three-nave neo-Gothic temple, the interior of which is divided by multiple pillars. The side naves have stone vaults, while the nave is modeled on a gothic vault made of walnut wood. The altar is simple and there is a picture with the scene of the Crucifixion. A soaring, square tower with high windows adjoins the church.
