Alexandre i Rene Parodi Square is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. It is a large green area on the site of the old fortifications. There are picnic areas, playgrounds for children and paths for cycling and Nordic walking.
The name of the park reminds of the two heroes of the Resistance, brothers Alexander and Rene Parodi. Rene was murdered by the Gestapo in 1942, and Alexander lived to see his days after the end of the war.
The square is a place of family rest for the inhabitants of the district. It is especially crowded on weekends. In its central part, on a small hill, there is a monument dedicated to the two heroes.
