Montsoreau Castle

Local name: Château de Montsoreau

A Renaissance chateau on the very shore of the Loire. Together with other castles in the area, it is included in the UNESCO list. It consists of a rectangular main body facing the river and two small wings with towers. The Museum of Contemporary Art has been operating in the castle since 2016.
