Chapel of Notre-Dame de la Garde

85 steps carved in the rock lead to the 17th-century chapel and the viewing platform next to it. Pilgrims, especially people working at sea, come here to the miraculous statue of the Virgin Mary - a gilded oak statue from 1630. In the chapel there are many votive and thanksgiving plaques donated by sailors.
