Built in the 12th century, the castle belonged to one of the most powerful families of Brittany. In the fifteenth century, it was a fortress guarding the borders of this state. Currently, it is in a state of permanent ruin. Powerful defensive walls, firing and artillery positions, which are evidence of medieval military technology, have been preserved.
