The Bordeaux waterfront is part of an urban complex that was included in the 2007 UNESCO World Heritage List. A promenade runs along the banks of the Garonne River, turning into a walking path with historic buildings from the 17th century with picturesque, restored facades.
While walking, you can admire the panorama of the port and the city. The road crosses two bridges: the historic Pont de Pierre from 1822 and the modern drawbridge Pont Chaban Delmas built in 2013. Along the waterfront there are numerous cafes and restaurants with outdoor tables, as well as boutiques with clothes.
