The oldest museum in France, founded in 1694, over 100 years before the Louvre was opened to the public. His collection consists of three sections. The first is an archaeological collection comprising prehistoric collections, Egyptian mummies and exhibits from excavations from the Roman Gallic period. The other two departments are related to art and it is a collection of paintings as well as graphics and drawings. Among the collected works you can admire the works of Tintoretto, Rembrendt, Goya and Renoir.
