Fort of Beauregard

Former artillery fort belonging to the fortifications of the Besançon Fortress. It was started to be built in 1701, but it did not get its present shape until the second half of the 19th century. It was used many times during the war, and the greatest damage was recorded during the war of 1814. Currently, due to its location on the hill, it is an excellent vantage point to the area.
