Maison Bonaparte

The house where Napoleon Bonaparte was born and lived as a child. As an adult, he spent a few days here in 1799, but had to flee from Corsican men who wanted to capture him. In the residence, you can see an exhibition on the history of Corsica in the 19th century, furnished, original rooms owned by the family, a collection of Napoleon III's travel memorabilia, and a photo exhibition of life in Ajaccio.
