The Maritime Museum in Rauma was founded in 2004 in the building of the former Maritime School from the beginning of the 20th century. It is devoted primarily to the shipbuilding industry in Rauma and the daily life of seafarers. The museum's collection includes a collection of seafarers' personal items, such as tools, souvenirs, photographs and correspondence.
