Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek

The art museum collects art collections of Mediterranean cultures: Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt, Greece, Etruria and Rome. A separate exhibition also presents 19th-century French and Danish art. The museum was founded in 1882 by the Danish brewer, founder of Carlsberg brewery, art collector and patron, Carl Jacobsen.
