Letna Castle is actually a lookout tower built at the end of the 19th century in the spa park in Teplice. From the outside, it looks like a fairytale romantic castle with towers and buttresses. At a height of 25 meters there is a viewing platform. The building houses a restaurant and small bath rooms.
The castle was built in 1897. It is a mix of different styles, among which the influence of neo-Gothic and neoclassicism is clearly visible. The whole is painted in pastel colors and decorated with rustication. The observation tower offers a view covering not only the center of the spa, but also the Ore Mountains surrounding it, as well as the Central Bohemian Upland. At the beginning of the 21st century, the building was renovated. On the ground floor there is an intimate thermal bath, and above a restaurant serving cuisine inspired by the Austro-Hungarian times.
