The characteristic arch bridge over the Vltava River was built in 1905-1908. It is 169 m long, which makes it one of the shortest in Prague. The bridge connects the Holešovice and Old Town districts. Art Nouveau sculptures decorating the building were created by artists such as Klusáček, Wurzel, Popp and Amor.
