The observatory of Baron Artur Krause in Pardubice has been operating since 1992. It is a scientific and educational institution whose main goal is to bring astronomical issues to the widest possible social groups. The observatory organizes evening sky observations, lectures, lectures and educational shows.
The observatory continues astronomical traditions initiated at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries by Baron Artur Krause. He was a committed promoter of knowledge about space. He also had his own small observatory. The facility currently operating has both fixed telescopes placed in the opening dome and portable devices used during observations carried out from the observation deck.
Astronomical circles for children, youth and adults operate at the observatory. Regular observations of the night sky are carried out. You can also take part in shows and exhibitions presenting the issues of the functioning of the cosmos.
