The baroque pharmacy Biały Unicorn is a branch of the District Museum. This place shows the original appearance of the pharmacy from around 1770 with furniture, equipment, scientific journals and old medicines.
The White Unicorn pharmacy was founded in the 17th century and operated continuously until 1966. After its closure, a pharmacy museum was created here. It boasts complete equipment from the 18th century. The interior is finished in wood. They are made up of baroque wardrobes and tables decorated with twisted columns and multiple cornices. Sculptures of saints and religious paintings are also part of the equipment.
The museum has in its collection original equipment used by pharmacists, including the only pharmacy oven in the Czech Republic. There are also scales, bottles, jars, mortars, knives and many more. In the pharmacy, mixtures used in the past are shown, such as animal ears, dried herbs, as well as animals used for treatment, including leeches.
