The Art Pavilion (Umjetnički paviljon) in Zagreb is an art gallery in which exhibitions of artists from around the world are organized. From the outside, the building was decorated with sculptures. busts of Renaissance painters from Dalmatia - Vittore Carpaccio, Giulio Clovio and Andrea Schiavone, as well as Michelangelo, Titian and Rafael.
So far over 700 exhibitions have been organized in the Art Pavilion, visitors have had the opportunity to learn about the works of Käthe Kollwitz, Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, Gilles Aillaud and Milivoj Uzelac.
The original pavilion was designed by architects from Budapest - Kálmán Giergl and Flóris Korb - the project was created for the Millennium Exhibition in Budapest in 1896. After its completion, the pavilion was moved to Zagreb, it was rebuilt according to plans prepared by architects from Fellner & Helmer.
