The Church of Our Lady of Health (Crkva Gospe od zdravlja) in Zadar is a temple built in the 18th century in the Baroque style. It is famous for the fifteenth-century picture of Our Lady of Kaštela by Blaž Jurjev Trogiran.
The church was built in the place of the old church, it was to serve as the mausoleum of Archbishop Zmanjevic. During World War II, it was virtually completely destroyed, only the belfry and the small chapel remained of the building. The church was rebuilt in 1990. The money for construction came entirely from donations.
The author of the famous painting - Blaž Jurjev Trogiranin is a traveling late Gothic painter who created his works for the needs of churches in various regions of Dalmatia, you can admire them, including in Trogir or Dubrovnik.
Today, the church is a popular place of visit for believers from around the world, it is also one of the tourist attractions of the area.
