There is also a lagoon in the vicinity, the bottom of which is covered with deposits of highly mineralized silt, which has a healing effect. The coast near Szaba is diverse. You can see here, among others the famous Tyulenovo Cliffs, the rock arch and the Seal Cave.
Szabła's biggest attraction are the local beaches covered with light sand, including the Little Sea Beach and the Durankulak Beach. They are developed, with the possibility of renting sun loungers, but in part of the area you can also relax with your own equipment.
Although today's buildings of Szaba is mainly modern, and the oldest buildings come from the 19th century, human settlements existed in this place already in antiquity. This is evidenced by the archaeological complex of Lake Durankulak, one of the most important attractions of the area. The lake and its marshy shores are also one of the largest nesting areas for water birds in Bulgaria. In turn, the most characteristic building of the village is the lighthouse in Szabla.
