The cave is located on the right slope of the Buynovo River. It is 10.5 km long, making it the longest cave in the Rhodope Mountains and the third longest in Bulgaria. The entrance to the grotto is located at an altitude of 930 m above sea level. A hiking trail leads to it from a nearby village. There is a restaurant and parking in front of the entrance.
The 1,250 m long route is open to the public. It is well lit, and a 350 m long part is adapted to the needs of disabled people. During the tour, you can see picturesque rock formations, stalactites, stalagmites and the so-called cave pearls.
In the remaining, unlit part of the cave, there are two extreme routes intended for experienced cavers and speleologists. The "Eurydyka" route is 4 km long and the "Orpheus" route is 5 km long. Defeating it requires, among others zip line over the 30-meter precipice.
