The picturesque gorge of the Wycza River is 16 km long and is one of the longest in the country. It has the status of a protected nature monument. It begins at 1,307 meters above sea level and then descends to the Teshel Dam, which lies at 876 meters above sea level. A single-lane road runs along its entire length, connecting the village of Buynovo with the rest of the country.
The walls of the ravine are up to several hundred meters high. The first half of the ravine is quite wide, but then narrows more and more. In one place, the walls are almost touching each other. This point is called by local residents "Wolf's Leap". It is said that this is where wolves come down from the mountains in winter to hunt livestock.
Several hiking trails have been marked out along and around the gorge. They can be covered both on foot and by bike. Part of the routes run through the Jagodyńska Cave, known for its picturesque karst forms. In total, there are 36 caves and grottos in the slopes of the gorge.
