Vjetrenica Cave

Local name: Špilja Vjetrenica

The cave measures over 7 km long, which makes it the largest in the country. A corridor measuring 600 m has been made available to tourists. It is one of the two caves in the world where nearly 100 animal species live and new ones are still being discovered. The fossilized remains of a cave bear were also found here.
