The nature park stretches along the coast for several kilometers. There are over 60 bunkers and artillery positions as well as a system of underground corridors in this area. It is one of the best-preserved elements of the Atlantic Wall built by the Germans during the Second World War.
The fortifications include the only surviving German coastal battery that was used during the First World War. In the museum building, you can see an exhibition of uniforms and military equipment.
There is also an archaeological site in Raversyde. Four traditional fishermen's huts, reflecting the realities of fishermen's life from the mid-15th century, have been reconstructed within it. Picturesque meadows, forests and a diverse seaside landscape extend all around. During walks you can meet many birds and other small animals here.
