The historic church was built in the 15th century in the Gothic style. From the outside, attention is drawn to the spire, reaching 55.5 m in height and surrounded by four small towers. The interior is decorated with numerous works of art. The main altar is decorated with the triptych "Adoration of the Magi" by Pieter Paul Rubens.
You can also see a copy of the painting "Four Evangelists", the original of which is in the Louvre and a triptych, depicting scene of Jesus' meeting by St. Veronica. In the church tower there are two perfectly preserved paintings from the fourteenth century. They depict St. Christopher and Saint. George. They were discovered only in 2008 during regeneration works. They can be viewed only during guided tours.
The history of the church dates back to the 13th century. Initially there was a chapel dedicated to Saint. John the Baptist. In the following years, the chapel was gradually expanded, until it was finally rebuilt into the currently existing temple.
