Old Town Hall and Belfry

The complex of buildings of the town hall consists of the 16th-century Grand Council Palace, the 14th-century market hall and the Gothic-Baroque belfry, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The construction of the Great Council Palace, begun in 1526, was not completed until 400 years later, based on the preserved original design.
