Great Market

The central square of the city attracts tourists with historic buildings and market events. The most interesting building is the 16th-century town hall (Palace of the Great Council), which is dominated by a monumental bell tower, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In 2004, an ancient well and remains of a 13th-century street were discovered under the square.
