The Museum of Walloon Life emphasizes the separateness and unique character of Walloons and Wallonia. The museum has a collection of about 100 thousand. monuments - tools, costumes, toys, furniture, everyday objects, liturgical objects, exhibits documenting the development of education, industry and many other areas and aspects of life in Wallonia.
The permanent exhibition is a problem presentation divided into several currents, among which were the everyday life of Walloons, spiritual life (denominations and beliefs, superstitions, superstitions and magic rituals), industrial revolution and social changes (increase in consumption, improvement of living conditions).
A special part of the Musée de la vie wallonne is the puppet theater. The collection includes several hundred dolls, and on the museum stage there are regularly performances addressed mainly to the youngest visitors.
