The museum is dedicated to public transport in Brussels. Its collection includes a collection of over 60 vehicles from 1868 to 1971. Among them are horse buses, trolley buses, trams and carriages. On selected days, you can also go on one of the historic trams.
Trips with historical vehicles take place on three routes. The first runs in the municipality of Tervuren, the second leads through Montgomery Square to the Cinquantenaire Park, while the third is a 3-hour trip around Brussels. The last route is 35 km long and is organized in the company of a guide who tells interesting facts about places and monuments.
The museum is located in the depot building, which is divided into two parts. The first contains exhibition space, while the second is still actively used. The building dates from the late nineteenth century. Since 2001, it has the status of a protected national monument. During a thorough renovation, the original appearance was partially restored.
