Huidenvettersplein

In the past, the square was called Huidenvettersdam, which dates from the fourteenth century and referred to both the nearby dam (dam) and the tanneries (huiden) gathered around the square. In the nineteenth century, a fish market operated here. It is now a secluded corner with numerous restaurants and cafes.
