Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde

The complex includes a church and 30 small residential houses, which in the past were inhabited by begads and beginks - lay monks whose order was established in the 12th century to help the poorest. The buildings come from the 16th-18th centuries, now they are museum objects, presenting the everyday life of the members of the assembly.
