The archaeological museum has exhibits from the Stone Age to the present day. Most were found during archaeological excavations carried out in the vicinity of the city. Among them are Neolithic stone tools and medieval craft tools.
The exhibitions were divided into four thematic sections: home, work, life and death. Each of the exhibits is described in detail. It also indicates where and how they were found, which is to help visitors better understand the archeological process. An additional attraction is the collection of wall paintings depicting the history of the city from its foundation to modern times.
A curiosity for children is a special educational path led by the fairy-tale character Field De Mol, encouraging children to solve puzzles and their own searches.
