Musée en Piconrue is an institution dedicated to the dissemination of ethnographic and fairy-tale heritage as well as sacred art from the Ardennes and Luxembourg. Each year, it prepares several temporary exhibitions dedicated to the specific climate, customs and inhabitants of these regions. The building also houses House of Legends - a place dedicated to the heroes of folk tales.
The museum has a collection of 120 thousand. objects and documents - paintings, sculptures, old prints, liturgical items and everyday use. They document the most important stages of human life and customs related to them: religious and secular rituals and rituals of passage (birth, baptism, weddings, the moment of reaching maturity, death). The museum has a collection of over 20 thousand photographs documenting the lives of the inhabitants of the Ardennes.
The exhibition at House of Legends is a forest full of unusual, sometimes dangerous inhabitants - devils, werewolves and fairies. The exhibition is addressed primarily to the youngest recipients.
